Independent Fashion Bloggers (IFB) awarded me 2 VIP tickets to their conference being held on Wednesday, February, 8th in New York City. IFB is an organization that was created to cultivate a community for fashion bloggers to share their experiences and create a resource so that everyone can build a better blog.
Their conference this season will be featuring some of fashion's most innovative and ground breaking fashion bloggers (i.e. Nicolette Mason, Man Repeller, Bryan Boy, etc) as keynote speakers. As an aspiring fashion blogger trying to blog my way to the front row, if anyone is going to know and/or give the right tips as to what steps to take to get to the coveted front row it would be them.

Hello Ana! I found your contest on twitter as I was stalking the IFBCon hash tag wishes I was one of the bloggers that would be in attendance at the conference. I made plans to attend fashion week for my very first time and I did this before the release date of the conference, WHOMP! My flight doesn't land until 2 hrs into the conference and with this info I had given up all hope to attend. As the excitement continues to build around the conference I just know that I have to be at milk studio, so as I was mapping out a plan to get there, WALA! I found your contest and it has reassured me that I am making the right choice! You are my sign and for that I thank you. I would make the perfect conference bestie because:

DeleteAna this is a lovely opportunity. I found your contest and blog via twitter and I love it. I honestly believe I am suppose to be your Blogger Bestie. I have been planning my trip to New York for this conference for over a week now and I would love to share my experience with you. I honestly have no friends in this blogging industry and I would love for you to be the first. Along with having no friends in the blogging world this with be the first time I am traveling on my own so it will be nice to meet a friendly face at the conference. Me and you can network and meet other people at the conference together and I honestly feel like it will make this experience a lot better. I would love to talk to you before the conference over the phone or though email.

I have been a faithful reader from the days of "Chic Robot Geishas + Feathers" to "Prada is Blazin' in Spring/Summer '12!", and I think my favorite thing about your blog is your dedication to bring your audience to the cusp of current fashion trends and statements that we wouldn't otherwise know about!
I think I would be a great bestie to go along to the conference because blogging - fashion blogging - has a broad spectrum. What I try to accomplish in my own blog, is to help each woman feel empowered with the trends, by starting from within! Havethelastword.blogspot.com has become a piece of me, and in similar dedication to yours, I feel its equally important to emphasize beauty in all shapes sizes and colors & for women to embrace who we are!
