As August draws to a close it's always bittersweet for me because it means that Summer is in it's final weeks but what keeps a smile on my face is knowing that a new fashion season is at bay.  Helping to usher in the kick-off the fashion industry's most buzzing month of September, two of my favorite shopping malls are hosting almost daily events to help you get ready for the fall season.  The Water Tower Place and The 900 Shops have some incredible events planned and I wanted you to get in the know because if you are anything like me you need a few days to not only let the excitement settle in but also some much needed time to schedule it all out.

[Chicago Fashion Event] "A Day For Her" Event on Saturday, May 12th

This Saturday, May 12th from 10am to 6:30pm 900 North Michigan Shops and Friends of Prentice present "A Day For Her".  An all-day shopping event featuring exclusive offers. You can purchase a special ticket price of $20 in advance or $30 at the door (purchase ticket here).  This ticket gives you fabulous discounts, activities, treats and raffle prizes.  All proceeds from the ticket sales will go to benefit Friends of Prentice, the fundraising board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital's Prentice Women's Hospital.

Kick-off this Mother's Day weekend by shopping for your mom while at the same time helping a cause to benefit future mothers-to-be!

[Chicago Fashion Event] 'The Real People of Style' Spring 2012 Fashion Show

Spring has officially arrived and mother nature has ushered her in with some gorgeous Chicago weather! Keep your 'Spring Fever' going by joining CheekyChicago.com and Peroni Italy on Thursday, March 29th from 6pm to 8pm for one of Spring's "must-see" fashion events of the season: "The Real People of Style".

Kicking off it's 3rd annual spring show, "The Real People of Style" will feature nine of Chicago's most fashionable tastemakers.  Come watch some of Chicago's chicest strut their stuff at a showcase being held at the 900 North Michigan Shops (Level 3).
